“It brings me no pleasure to say that someone in this room murdered Roger Ackroyd.”
Gossip, deception, and murder, oh my! When renowned detective Hercule Poirot retires to King’s Abbott, he does so in the hope of growing vegetable marrows and living a quiet life. But when pillar of the community Roger Ackroyd is discovered murdered — from inside a locked room, no less — there is only one detective fit to solve the case. This adaptation of Agatha Christie’s classic work is a treat for fans of murder mysteries, unreliable narrators, small towns, and petty family drama.
